Leo A2024-04-15Still charming after all these years Here i am again, finding myself occupying #2127 in this beautiful hotel that never loses it's charm. Compared to my last trip in 2018 here however, there are few minor things about this place: - The MRT reno right in front means the madness that is Jakarta traffic is now over-multiplied, so plan your day ahead - The 7th floor lobby and the elevator used to be icy cold, perhaps April is the month where the heat in this City is at it's max. - The rooms clearly showed some aging wear and tear (normal for hotel that has been opened for quiet some time), i feel like it's only time the hotel will do a reno soon. - While i requested a non smoking room, the bathroom in the room reeks cigarette and while it can be rectified by the cleaner spraying some fragrance, perhaps hotel management could pay a bit more attention during cleanup (this is minor, the stay is still excellent regardless. All in all, this hotel is still one of my fave when visiting Jakarta and definitely a must try for travellers to embrace the charm of Yello :).Verified
